About our krewe
The Krewe of Bonne Vivantes is a local Carnival association that has been in existence since 1954. It consists of 161 outstanding women from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast who embody a spirit of good living—celebrating friendship, tradition, and the joy of life through fellowship and festivity.
Bonne Vivantes has championed numerous nonprofits over the years as a way to give back to the community that they represent. The ladies of Bonne Vivantes are proud to support The SoSo Strong Foundation for the 2026-2027 carnival season as their charity of choice.
SoSo Strong is the organization KOBV is supporting this year through our fundraising efforts. The SoSo Strong Foundation's mission is to find a cure for DIPG and other pediatric brain tumors, and to identify the cause of DIPG, while spreading awareness about these cancers and improving the lives of patients and their families.
